Have you had a look at your Padinga lately?
Hey. Wow. Its been forever since I've posted in this thing. Like 2 months or so.
Well, let me tell you, I've hardly been resting on my laurels.
...maybe just a bit...
Its convention season, and already I've been tearing it up around here. I finished a short shoot in Portland, a script to shoot with Vegaswood Studios, and PMP Productions about to shoot in August, another part of the Dire Digest. PMP also just received an award for Affection/Affectation from last week's Las Vegas Film Fest. This week I'm at the San Diego Comicon, diving head-first into the creative community.
My writing time was basically split, however, between the script (which you can't yet enjoy the fruits of) and Padinga.com. For Padinga, we went to E3, covered the living shit out of that convention, and also established a weekly writing schedule, so you've got new content every day.
Check HERE for all the E3 goodies collected in one spot. Its a pretty comprehensive guide to all the good stuff coming out this upcoming year.
On the front page, you'll find new articles every day, so keep coming back!

External Linkage Double Dose
I forgot to put a couple of my articles here in the archives. Well, no time like the present. Over on Padinga, we explore the death of Guitar Hero. Find that HERE.
And over on Brutal As Hell, we talk about the VOD release of the Chinese Horror flick, Dream Home. Find that HERE.
Its GOOD FOR YOU!!!... but really, do go and support these two fine media outlets.

Here's a little something for fans of one media realm I've been ignoring for far too long: Video Games. I always start the year strong with gaming, pick it up around E3, and then just kinda poop out in the fall doldrums before the X-mas rush even happens.
Well, I can't really promise that won't happen again this year, but we'll try. I'm already gearing up for my annual state of the union address.
In the meantime, here's a link to a little something at PADINGA, just a few random gaming stories I found interesting, and threw them together. Enjoy this for now, something bigger is on the horizon.
Oh, also, Break threw all of our archives on the site from BMX, so you can check out some old comics and past E3 adventures and such. Woot!

Just a little something. Review for Poo: The Card Game is up at Padinga.com
Yes, its a game about monkeys throwing shit at each other. And here you thought the world had nothing more to offer you. So, so wrong.

The last of the E3 Tech reviews is up, as I share final, parting thoughts on the Kinect, and the Yoostar 2 makes its internet debut.
If you've ever wanted to see me making a foolish attempt at an Arnold Impersonation, this is your time!

E3 Nintendo Madness Continues!
All the buzz is about Nintendo... again.
While I've got scads of games to cover, a few interviews to post, all of the talk, and all of the lines at the con, lead to Nintendo.
If you haven't figured out yet what all the buzz is about, its all centered around the Nintendo 3DS portable game system.
And if you haven't figured out why yet, maybe this look will clue you in. More at Padinga.com!

External Linkage: E3 Edition- A Visit with Nintendo!
E3 continues to bowl me over. I got enough material for four articles, easy, but only had enough time to get one put together.
Of course, that's just me, the rest of the staff is out gathering information too. We could be writing for days if we feel like it, there's just that much new stuff floating around.
Of course we gotta cover the big guns first, and it doesn't get any bigger than Nintendo. Here's coverage from their press conference this morning, including new titles for the Zelda and Metroid franchises, as well as a look at the new Nintendo 3DS!

External Linkage: E3 Edition
This was a huge, long day. I'd forgotten what the convention scene felt like!
Its has been said to me that at conventions, there are three things to do: Eat, Sleep, Play Games (or whatever the con is about). Pick two of those, that's all you have time to do.
Well, after a pair of press conferences and a huge concert, the Padinga crew has returned home with a belly full of pie to report the news.
We need to get back down there in two hours, so guess which option we're NOT taking. And the con hasn't even officially opened its doors yet...
Anyway, Day 0 coverage is up at Padinga.com. Go, read, enjoy. It was definitely a WTF kind of day for seasoned Gamers...
